This card is for a My Favorite Things challenge, MFTSC78. I used stamps from their set Punny Farm, cutting out the images.

The challenge is to use paper piercing. Since I just got some new Spellbinders dies, including a Pierceabilities border, I decided to play along. The paper and ribbon are called Lemon Tart from PaperTrey Ink.

Birth Announcement

Now I can post the birth announcement for Mary Ellen's twins - didn't want her to see it before the girls arrived.

I made 60 of these cards, using another House Mouse design. I colored the image with Copics and used SU! Whisper White and Pink Pirouette cardstock. I used a new EK Success edge punch called Wavy Edge.

Two by Two

Mary Ellen is getting close! Hope she doesn't see this card before I send it!

I used a couple of circle punches for the carriages and wheels and a piece of wire for the handle.
Colors are Pink Pirouette, WW, and BB.

Just a couple of weeks until the twins arrive. This card is a reminder for Mary Ellen to take it easy. Recipe is quite basic: WW cardstock, Swiss Dot Cuttlebug folder, Fresh Alphabet by PTI, and some ribbon and brads.

Jane and Joan Birthday - 53

Simple card using Very Vanilla and layers of DP from K&Co . Punched a little porthole to expose stamped image inside.

Joan Can Quilt....Who Knew?

Joan bought an amazing sewing machine! Sounds like she can even program it from her cell phone! Congratulations, Joan - make me something.

I made this "quilted" card for Joan. I used 3 Cuttlebug folders to emboss the papers, then cut the small squares. Added some faux stiching to mimic Joan's talent!

Notecards for Caroline

A set cards for Caroline. The paper is from SEI Charlemagne. The monogram is from Just Rite Monograms. I used Nestabilities Petite Scallops and Small Circles with the Cuttlebug.

What day is it?

These are perpetual calendars I made for Jane, Margaret, and Heather. With a family as large as mine, I think I should be able to fill every slot with a birthday! I used the Bind-It-All to assemble them.

Valentine's Day

I really love the stamps from Verve's Hearts on Fire. They lend themselves to embossing beautifully. This card is SU Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, and I used PTI Sweet Blush for the pink hearts.

Verve Week 3 Challenge

First opportunity to use the new Hearts on Fire set. Colors are SU Chocolate Chip and PTI Sweet Blush. I used a Cuttlebug border folder and an old pair of scallop scissors for dimension.

Christmas Card 2008

Grandchildren make great models! Jet is almost two and his new cousin, Ellery, is 8 months. What fun!

The cards are white and vanilla. And I used SU! Old Olive, River Rock, Real Red and last year's DP.

Are We There Yet?

For Mary Ellen's birthday. Mom to adorable Joey, now expecting twin girls! So exciting!

This is another House Mouse stamp, colored with Copics and SU! markers. Card base is SU! Blue Bayou.

Girlfriends on a Bench is from Rubber Romance stamps. The paper is SU More Mustard CS and DP. Colored with Copics.

Close Knit Family

For anyone who knows Marie, you know she's an avid knitter. She also has lots of family hanging around! I love this House Mouse image.

Notecards for Erika

Love playing with the JustRite Monogram sets. And Erika is wonderful about putting up with whatever I create! Thank you!

These are 6 x 3 notecards with envelopes made with SU Basic Gray, Going Gray, Groovy Guava, and Whisper White. I used small scallop Nestabilities for the backgrounds of the monograms. I really love the Polka Dot Basic set from Papertrey Ink, which is what I used here. On one of the cards, I used a Cuttlebug dot border folder.
